Agbarha Warri appeals to govt, others for aid

WARRI—THE Agbarha Warri Improvement Union, has appealed to Warri South Local Government Area, Delta State and Federal Governments and other relevant agencies as well as corporate bodies to support the Agbarha Warri National Youth Council in developing the youths in Agbarha Kingdom, Warri.

The union in a statement by its President-General, Chief Emmanuel Ememu, drew the attention of government and the public to some unscrupulous persons and groups, who are parading themselves as executives of the youth council and thereby, impeding the growth and productivity of the council.

The group listed the names of the authentic leaders of the Agbarha Warri apex youth body to include: Benson Obire (President), Mr. Eyes Davis (Vice President), Mr. Edward Onomavwe (Secretary), Bini Ebimoketimi (Assistant Secretary), Eguono Okpe (Financial Secretary), Victor Mukoro (Assistant Financial Secretary) and Terence Eriye (Treasurer ), among others.

Others are Samuel Ajejevwe (PRO), Moses Atori (Provost), Ogagaoghene Jedo (Spokesman), Awuri Akuruli (Sports Officer), Ese Ohanoma (Arts and Culture), Precious Bazunu (Auditor) and Joseph Agboire (Welfare Officer).
The group warned that any youth caught impersonating the executives of the youth council shall be arrested and handed over to the police for necessary action.
