By Festus Ahon

ASABA—NATIONAL Chairman of Urhobo Solidarity Forum, USF, Chief Smith Asohro, has said that Delta State has every reason to celebrate in its 25th anniversary, insisting that despite the initial challenges, the state has done well both in human and infrastructural development.

He commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for his youth empowerment and skill acquisition programme and for building on the infrastructure he met on ground.

Asohro, while fielding questions from newsmen, said: “Over 700 Deltans have been trained in different skills of their choice and very many of them are doing well.”

Noting that the benefiting youths have been established and were adding value to the economy of the state, he tasked other youths in the state yet to key into the programme to do so.

He solicited the support of the Urhobo political class to enable the governor achieve his set goals for the state.
