Lagos—A 50-year-old Muslim cleric, Mohammed Yusuf, and his daughter, Salamat, 18, were yesterday charged before a Tinubu Magistrate’s Court in Lagos, for attempted murder. They allegedly inserted needles in the Akaras (bean cakes) they distributed to beggars.
