Kaduna govt. releases 15 prison inmates

The Kaduna State Committee on Prisons Decongestion on Friday said it had set free 15 inmates from the Kaduna Central Prison. The committee’s chairperson, Amina Dyeris-Sijuwade, who is also the state’s Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, said in a statement that the gesture was part of the ongoing prison decongestion exercise.

A Badagry Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos State has slammed a N100,000 bail on a 28-year-old man, Bimbo Iseyin, who allegedly stole two vehicle tyres worth N15,000.
