FCT Police arrest suspected kidnappers, car snatchers
The FCT Police Command on Monday in Abuja said it had arrested three suspected members of a notorious kidnapping and car snatching syndicate. The suspects are: Alhaji Isah Aliu, Labaran Abubakar and Abdullahi Ishaq. Presenting the suspects to newsmen, the FCT Commissioner of Police, Mr Muhammad Mustafa, said that among the suspects was the leader of the gang.
Another 28 persons, including 13 teenagers found chained in Lagos house
The Lagos State Police Command has rescued 28 persons that included 13 teenagers found in chains in a house at Oke-Ira, Ojodu area of the state. The command’s spokesperson, SP Dolapo Badmos, told newsmen on Monday that the victims were rescued on Friday.
