Oghara—The Ovie of Oghara Kingdom, Delta State, HRM Noble Eshemitan, Uku-Ogharaname Orife III, has marked the 4th anniversary of his coronation,  with conferment of awards of excellence to two former Commissioners of Police, Mr Mike Ogbodu and Ovie Oyakhomino, while 12 others, who had distinguished themselves in their careers and service to the community ,  received various chieftain titles.

At the anniversary held with fanfare at his palace, the monarch, said: “As my sons and daughters are celebrating with me on this anniversary, I sue for a peaceful co-existence devoid of crime and crisis.”

The monarch, who also was the first African traditional ruler to be inducted as Governor of Rotary International, further said: “We must, at all times, conduct our affairs with the fear of  God. As a Rotarian, I acquired a great deal of integrity building habits. I am asking for a corruption free society.”
