Four die in Abeokuta after drinking ‘Ogogoro’

ABEOKUTA- No fewer than four persons reportedly lost their lives on Tuesday, in Ibara Housing Estate area of Abeokuta, Ogun state capital after excessive consumption of local liquor known as “ogogoro” .

The seller of the liquor, one Salako Taloju, a gateman who has his kiosk in front of the house of prominent Abeokuta man, Alhaji Sule Onabiyi was however, arrested.

When our correspondent visited the scene, men of the Ibara Police station were at the scene whisking away the suspect.

The seller of the liquor was drunk, shortly before he was whisked away by Policemen said only three people died and that they were living around the area.
