Nigeria’s rating in the latest FIFA Rankings released on Thursday improved with three steps in the month of July.

The Super Eagles are now at the 67th position and remain 16 on the African rankings. Nigeria’s 2018 World Cup opponents Algeria are still the top team in Africa, while Cameroon ranked 54th remain at the 8th position.

In the global ranking, 2014 World Cup vice-champions Argentina lead the way followed by Belgium, Colombia, Germany and Chile.
