In his assessment, the NWF boss described the tournament as  a good test for the Rio 2016 Olympics  bound team.

“This was a good test for the Olympics. I wish we had a few more tournaments like we had originally planned before the Olympics. Congratulations to all the young men and women for their tremendous effort. This tournament no doubt, gave the Nigerian Olympic team a taste of what to expect in Rio. Interestingly, there are quite a few teams who are here with their 2020 Olympic hopefuls. That is how to prepare. We will get there too someday. I wish them luck at the Games”, he said.
