The Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) says that taxation of petroleum products like fuel, diesel, kerosene and gas holds a huge revenue potential for Nigeria. This is contained in a report PPRA made available to the Ministry of Finance and obtained by newsmen at the conclusion of the two-day National Revenue Retreat in Kano.

The Federal Government says all foreigners who wish to invest in the Nigeria’s economy must first carry out its research and developmental work in the country. The Minister of Science and Technology, Dr Ogbonnaya Onu, made this known in an interview with newsmen on Thursday in Abuja. He also this will make for an improved national security through the ministry’s technology transfer promotion initiative.
