THE Olomu/Effurun-Otor Political Mandate, a pressure group in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State has unanimously passed a vote of no confidence on Olorogun Emmanuel Aguariavwodo, former Senator and ex-Managing Director, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) for his alleged role in subverting the political fortune of the area.
The no confidence vote was contained in a communiqué signed by Hon. John Ogbare and Chief Omojevwe Duku, Coordinator and Secretary of the group respectively, and made available to newsmen over the weekend.
The group said that the action of the former senator during the marred congress of the People Democratic Party (PDP) in the area undermines the party zoning position and is capable of destroying the party if allowed to stand.
According to the communiqué, “This action becomes necessary following the irregularities during the marred congress of the People Democratic Party (PDP) in the area.
“The political rascality and sagacity of Sen. E. E. Aguariawovdo are inimical to the political sustainability of our great party, PDP as his actions have created political animosity in the entire local government.”
