KWALE—The Ndokwa militant group has called for the practice of true federalism in Nigeria, just as it urged oil companies operating in the country to site their head offices at their areas of operation.
A statement by the group leader, Mr. Onyechukw uyenife Chukwubuzor said that what they were demanding for was true federalism, while both the federal and state governments should mandate the various oil companies operating in the country to site their head offices at their areas of operation to facilitate quick response to community development.
He denied rumours that they participated in the meeting that was held at Government House, Asaba, Delta State, between Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, community leaders and stakeholders.
Chukwubuzor said that they never nominated Mrs. Chinoye Aliyu to speak on their behalf.
