AFEMAI leaders fault Ikimi on Oshiomhole

AFEMAI leaders from the Edo North senatorial district of Edo state, yesterday, demanded immediate apologies from Chief Tom Ikimi over the alleged use of derogatory comments against their son, Governor Adams Oshiomhole.

While they described Ikimi’s comment as irresponsible, the leaders said they were proud of their son Oshiomhole who had brought development in the three senatorial districts of the state.

Addressing newsmen yesterday, the Founder of Afemai Heritage Group and a leader of Afemai land, Alhaji Usman Abuda, asserted that “we are actually doubting the seriousness surrounding Ikimi’s chieftaincy title, not the giver but himself because a title Chief does not talk irresponsibly, otherwise he is diminishing the essence surrounding that title.
