PORT HARCOURT—Rivers State Police Command said it has rescued four kidnap victims in Etche Local Government Area, based on information made available to the anti-kidnap unit of the command.

In a statement, yesterday, the Public Relations Officer of the command, DSP Omoni Nnamdi disclosed that the victims were rescued from a bush in Etch area of the state.

Nnamdi said the police also recovered two cars from the place where the victims were freed, adding that the command had also arrested seven suspected kidnappers in the state and recovered a Mazda car.
