NIGCOMSAT to support 2016 NCS national conference with broadband

The Nigerian space satellite provider, Nigerian Communications Satellite (NIGCOMSAT) Ltd, has thrown its weight behind the 26th national conference of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) with the provision of broadband connectivity during the event.
The conference with the theme, “Information Technology for National Safety and Security”, according to the organizers, will hold next month in Abuja.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NIGCOMSAT, Ms Abimbola Alale, the promoters said will chair the opening plenary session at the event.
A seasoned administrator in the nation’s space and satellite environment she has served in various national assignments and led teams to deliver on key national projects.
NIGCOMSAT, a leading communication satellite operator and service provider in Africa will no doubt add significant value to the conference. This is in line with its commitment to support efforts and strategies that harness the potential of IT for the socio-economic development of
Nigeria.
The conference is the recognized annual gathering for the IT industry, profession and stakeholders in Nigeria.
