By Tare Youdeowei

GBARAMATU—A prominent Ijaw leader, Chief Beck Hitler, has appreciated all traditional chiefs of Gbaramatu for being united and contributing towards a sustainable peace in  the kingdom considering the current challenges in the kingdom.

He commended out the Ibibenimowe (Chief Mobilizer) of Gbaramatu Kingdom, Chief Godspower Gbenekama, for his unrelenting efforts, commitments and manner he is handling the present challenges in the kingdom.

Hitler, yesterday in Warri, also sympathised with Gbaramatu chiefs and others allegedly mishandled and brutalized  during the invasion of Gbaramatu communities by the military.

Hitler appealed to the Federal Government to give more attention to addressing the hardship and sufferings of the people of Gbaramatu, adding that the kingdom was a major oil producer, yet the kingdom was seriously under developed.

He pointed that the people of Gbaramatu were peaceful and law abiding, and would continue to sustain the enabling environment for the desired development and adequate investments.
