The Alumni Association of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State in Abuja has paid a visit to Christ Foundation Orphanage, Kuje, Abuja, to support the children with gifts.

The Chairperson of the association, Dr Toyin Ajenifujah-Solebo, who is an Assistant Director at the National Biotechnology Development Agency (NABDA), Abuja, expressed delight thus; “the association is delighted to back the society by reaching out to the precious gifts from God and encouraging the children to become worthy members of the society. We are proud to be associated with the great work being done by the management and caregivers at Christ Foundation Orphanage.”

In response to the gesture, Mrs. Patricia Kuta, the proprietor the orphanage disclosed that the orphanage has about 50 children, ranging from infants to students in higher institutions, as she appreciated the alumni association saying; “Thank you for coming to support us.

We are making progress. One of the children will be graduating this year from the University of Abuja while three are students at the polytechnic. Another three just completed their  secondary school education this year. The orphanage also supports downtrodden widows.”

Other alumni who visited the orphanage include Mr. Kunle Adigun, General Secretary; Mr Oyegoke Afolabi, Welfare Officer; Arc. Taofik Aminu, Engr. Oladipo Agboola and Ms Aanu Rotimi.
