ABUJA – Heavily armed policemen Sunday took over the premises of the Peoples Democratic Party, blocking access into the party secretariat.

Five police vehicles, comprising two trucks and two pick up vans blocked access on both end of the street directly in front of the secretariat.

A detachment of policemen also blocked the entry into the secretariat.
