Oshiomhole vs Odubu: Oyegun directs Oni to wade into face-off

The national chairman of the APC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun has directed the deputy national chairman, South, Engr. Segun Oni to wade into the crisis between Governor Adams Oshiomhole and his deputy, Dr. Pius Odubu.

Party sources disclosed that the national chairman’s directive followed last weekend’s face off between the two men over the alleged assassination attempt against Odubu. Odigie-Oyegun’s instruction to Oni who may also be an attempt by the national chairman to remove himself from suspicion given that he is from the state and was the first civilian elected governor of the state.

Odigie-Oyegun had earlier in the year met with some of the governorship aspirants and promised them a level playing field in the primaries and assured them that the alleged effort to compromise the party delegates’ list was not an issue.
