Sapele—A member of the National Screening Committee of People Democratic Party, PDP, in the just-concluded ward, local and state congresses of the party in Delta State, Mr. Clement Olojoba, on Wednesday, restated the party’s preparedness to win the presidential election in 2019.

Olojoba cited the party’s solid grassroots structure and the inability of the current All Progressives Congress, APC, administration to address the country’s security challenges as the reason.

The PDP stalwart in Delta State and leader of the Association of Past Local Government Councillors, said: “The increase in electricity tariffs and fuel price without a concomitant increase in workers’ wages, have reduced the credibility of the ruling APC, to the extent that the masses are already eagerly waiting to vote PDP back to power at all levels in 2019.”
