Lagos—With attention geared towards ensuring good morals among children across the country, Lagos state, weekend called on parents and individuals to join hands to bring up children worthy of the country’s pride.

She said: “Business as usual is not enough to ensure that every child’s right is protected. We need new ideas and approach, as a guide line for every human right to be protected as well as that of our children who are the future of our tomorrow.

“Child’s right includes; their right to association with both parents, human identity and the basis for physical protection, food, universal basic education, health care and criminal laws appropriate for the age and development of the child.”

On her part, the founder Sparkle Foundation, Mrs. Olasinbo Ojuroye, said that her satisfaction is to see that children enjoy their childhood and stay focused, adding that “there is no point trying to run ahead of time as the seasons for children are different.”
