JALINGO – The Senator representing Taraba south at the National Assembly Senator Emmanuel Bwacha has described the Saturday Peoples Democratic Party’s wards congresses in Taraba as the most peaceful and well coordinated activity the party has ever conducted in the state.
Bwacha who spoke to Vanguard in an exclusive interview on phone said the leadership of the party in the state under Governor Darius Ishaku and Victor Bala Kona, the state party chairman, were able to tackle all the challenges that were capable of hindering the successes of the ward congress.
Vanguard gathered that all the ward congresses in Taraba state were conducted in a peaceful manner through consensus.
Commenting on the recent rumor in the state that he was on a political rift with the governor and that he has distanced himself from the political activities been organized by the state government, Bwacha said he was fully in support of Governor Darius as he pledged his loyalty and total support for the governor to succeed.
“Those who are making these rumor around are simply the once that are not with the governor, am in support of Governor Darius and he knows”
“I am too experienced to be playing around, am not a sycophant and I will continue to give him the best of advice that will develop Taraba until when he is not ready to take it, let me tell everybody that I was elected to represent Taraba south at the National Assembly, am not from the northern part of the state and I don’t see any need to continue to distract the governor from his activities while am always in Jalingo”
“If I come to Taraba state I should be able contact my people in the southern zone not to go and continue to stay at government house Jalingo, am in Abuja and if there is any issue that I think the governor and I shall discuss I always meet with him and talk it out, I supported him to win and God has given us the victory, now what is important is to develop Taraba state” Bwacha stated.
