Speaking at an interactive forum of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, NIPR, Abuja chapter, the Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer of NEPC, Mr. Olusegun Awolowo, said the quest to diversify the nation’s economy had generated increased interest now more than ever before, given dwindling oil revenue.

Represented by Director, Export Development and Incentives, Mr. George Enyiekpon, Awolowo said: “NEPC has redoubled effort to grow the sector through several intervention projects, such as one-state-one-product initiative and zero oil plan project.

“Others are Nigerian diaspora export programme and zero to export programme, among others.”

Also speaking, Chairman of NIPR, Abuja chapter, Mr. Tayo Haastrup, stated that NIPR will partner NEPC and the Federal Government in creating a positive image for the country and in attracting the much-needed foreign investment.
