Web Foundation, A4AI partner UN Women adopt web as empowerment tool for women

As part of efforts to mark the International Women’s Day, the World Wide Web Foundation and the Alliance for Affordable Internet (A4AI), have announced a new partnership with UN Women to drive policy commitments towards closing the gender gap in ICT and achieving universal and affordable access to the Internet. The partnership follows from its work with UN Women as an A4AI Advisory Council member.
