IN a bid to prepare the ground for the flagging off of the training of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Uhogua, Edo State, the wife of Edo State Governor, Iara Oshiomhole on Friday introduced the facilitators to the Director, Pastor Solomon Folorunsho and the students/trainees.
Mrs. Iara Oshiomhole, the initiator of “We Care Trust’s Project Focus”, who arrived the venue of the event with sewing machines, laptops, cooking machines, among other training facilities said the programme was specially designed for the children in the camp to acquire some skills during the holiday period.
A statement from the office of the Executive Director, Media and Public Affairs, Governor’s Office said, “in this first phase of training, about 160 students would be involved, and 20 laptop computers, 20 sewing machines, and 20 cooking machines would be deployed for the training and subsequently managed by the Camp Director.
