KV Oostende of Belgium forward Godwin Saviour has been granted his entry visa to Brazil for a friendly against the Rio Olympics hosts later this month.

Brazil will host Nigeria on March 24 as part of the two countries’ preparations for the Rio Olympics in August.

“Saviour has got his visa to Brazil. He will fly out from Belgium for the friendly,” a representative of the player informed.

The foreign-based players called up by Nigeria for the friendly are expected to join up with the rest of squad directly in Brazil on March 20.

Saviour helped Dream Team VI to qualify for the U23 AFCON in Senegal, which doubled as a qualifying tournament for the Rio Olympics.
