Kingsley Ogbundu Chinda is the PDP candidate for the Obio Akpor federal constituency seat in the House of Representatives.    He is a lawyer from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology,    RSUST.

He was at a time    president of the Students Union Government of the university.    He was Commissioner for Environment under former Governor Amaechi.

He contested election into the Obio Akpor constituency seat in the House of Representatives in 2011 and won. He won again in 2015 but the election was annuled and a rerun election ordered.

Chinda cautioned politicians from making empty promises, assuring that he will continue to give special attention to the needs of his constituents when elected.

Chinda has assisted many youths from his constituency to pay their fees and initiated several empowerment programmes for his people.

Strength: His supporters see him as one that has built trust among his people overtime. They also see him as a frank person. His strong civil society background has continued to earn him respect among his people.
