Jerome Amadi Eke won the 2015 general election on the platform of the PDP to represent Etche/Omuma federal constituency in the House of Representatives. The Appeal court however nullified the election and ordered a rerun.
He said he is in the race to better the lot of his constituents and is urging voters to ignore threats that voters will be harassed by the military on Saturday.
“I am calling on my supporters to come out and vote. They should ignore threats that some persons will use the military against them“, he said.
“I am in the race to attend to the needs of my people when elected. I will introduce empowerment programs to reduce challenges of poverty in the area. I will also ensure my people get quality education. I will see that my people get the dividends of democracy from government”, he said.
Strength: He enjoys grassroots supports in his constituency. And also has warm relationship with influential political leaders like Prince Emma Anyanwu.
