Aggrieved members of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, on Wednesday, demanded an unreserved apology from the Department of State Services (DSS) over the March 4, 2016 invasion of its Assembly complex and unlawful detention of a member of the House, representing Efon Constituency, Hon Afolabi Akanni for 18 days, threatening to seek redress and damages in court.

ORGANISED Labour on Wednesday raised alarm that the food, beverage and tobacco sector of the nation’s economy was on the verge of shutting down and that over three million jobs were at risk due to the inability of companies to source foreign exchange for raw material importation to facilitate operations.
