Bertrand Traore starts a league game for the first time, along with Diego Costa who is making his 50th appearance in the Premier League.

Kenedy continues at left-back having performed that role in the second half at Southampton. Branislav Ivanovic plays his 350th Chelsea game and is again the captain.

There is a return to the starting line-up for Nemanja Matic and with Willian rested and on the bench, Oscar also starts. Pato is named among the subs for the first time.

Norwich make one change in the absence of frequent Chelsea nemesis Steven Naismith. Wes Hoolahan plays instead.
