ABUJA – The Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered that the immediate past Minister of Interior, Abba Moro and a Deputy Director in the ministry, Mr. F. O Alayebami, should remain in prison custody until tomorrow when their applications will be considered.
Justice Anwuli Chikere made the order after the duo who are facing trial over their alleged complicity in a N676million job recruitment scam, through their lawyers, applied to be released on bail pending the determination of the case against them.
They are answering to an 11-count charge preferred against them by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Equally charged over the alleged crime
