‘APC chieftains did not fight in Atiku’s house’

By Emmanuel  Aziken

Media Adviser to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Mazi Paul Ibe, has denied reports of a free for all during an Adamawa State All Progressives Congress, APC stakeholders’ meeting held in Atiku’s Yola residence.

According to him, what was portrayed as a free for all, was an over dramatisation of heated arguments that occurred during the meeting called for by Atiku.

Contrary to what was published in a number of newspapers, he insisted that the narrative that the Local Government Chairman and Chief of Staff were involved in a heated argument that degenerated to physical exchange of blows was not true.

“The meeting was called for the good of the party in Adamawa State by the Turaki. Yes, there were arguments and heated debate, but there was no exchange of blows by the Adamawa APC chairman and the Chief of Staff,” another source at the meeting volunteered.

He dismissed the rumours as sheer exaggeration by people obsessed with undue sensationalism.
