Gov Dickson
By Soni Daniel
Bayelsa State governor, Chief Seriake Dickson, has described the just-concluded election in the state, which he won, as more of a war than an ordinary election.
The governor, who spoke to Vanguard in Abuja, described the election as the triumph of the people’s will against federal might, accusing his main rival, the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate of unleashing unnecessary war on Bayelsa State and its people, all in a bid to win the poll.
The governor boasted that he won the election based on the will of God and the active support of the people of the state, who have come to appreciate his sterling qualities as a dependable leader.
Dickson said that the results of the election had proved to doubting Thomases that Bayelsa State is a stronghold of the PDP.
