Nigerians have been admonished to appreciate God’s glory especially when facing challenges.
The new Archbishop of Lagos, Methodist Church Nigeria, Most Revd Luke Odubanjo, gave the advice in his sermon at the 2015 Choir Festival of the Wesley Cathedral, Olowogbowo, Lagos.
Odubanjo cited hardship of the Israelites in the wilderness, the hardship of David before the giant Goliath, the experience of Daniel in the Lion’s den, as well as those of the three Hebrews in the hands of King Nebuchadnezzar as well as Joseph, who was sold, sold to slavery, but eventually became Prime Minister over his siblings and Egyptians.
He charged Nigerians to endure and obey God in whatsoever they pass through.
The Methodist Archbishop, while appreciating the edication of the entire Wesley Cathedral Olowogbowo choir, assured them that God’s glory in their callings and families will not be in vain.
