Dalung who spoke when he paid a condolence visit to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) following the assassination yesterday if the Head of Protocol of the football house, Ibrahim Abubakar said the brazen manner by which he was killed leaves much to be desired.

The Minister who arrived the NFF Secretariat in the company of some of his directors added that he was worried because the victim could have been anybody.

“This is a very tragic death and I am particularly worried because this young man was killed right on his bed and I dare say that it could have been anybody including me.

“I also believe that our security agencies should buckle up to ensure adequate protection of lives and property because it is not a good tale that people should be easily murdered by evil men without any trace.”

Ibrahim Abubakar joined the federation during the early days of former President of the NFF, Alhaji Sani Lulu Abdulahi.

According to sources at the NFF, the deceased was murdered alongside his security man at his Kado estate residence around 2 am on Wednesday.
