Senator Ben Bruce representing Bayelsa East constituency, in Bayelsa State, on Sunday, identified some of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) supporters and party agents, who were victims of the violence that trailed Saturday’s election in the state.

Bruce who took to his Twitter handle, @benmurraybruce to condemn the electoral violence, however, called on the International Criminal Court (ICC) to try riggers of the Bayelsa polls.

He said: “These are innocent victims Nicholas Sampson, Oweiga Clement, Opiriye Iyala, Princewill Takubo. #ICCMustTryBayelsaRiggers”

However, the paramount ruler of Peremabiri community in Southern Ijaw local government of Bayelsa State popularly known as “progress never die” was reportedly shot on Sunday, by unknown gunmen.
