YENAGOA—THE Transition Monitoring Group, TMG, is to deploy a total of 325 observers for tomorrow’s governorship poll in Bayelsa State.

Out of this number, 300 will serve as stationary observers while 25 will move as observers across the eight local government areas of the state.

Chairman of TMG,  Ibraim Zikirullahi, who disclosed this in Yenagoa, yesterday, also noted that as part of its observation efforts, it would  conduct what it called a Quick Count, described as the gold standard for citizen election.

According to Zikirullahi, Quick Count is an advanced observation methodology that employs a well-established statistical principle and utilizes sophisticated information technologies, stating that the observers have been well trained and accredited for the process.
