WARRI—ROLES were reversed, yesterday, as men of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, were locked out by management and staff at Wellington Hotels, Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area, Delta State, which had been shut since September over a contentious loan deal.
The staff and management were at the hotel to resume operations after a counter order by a Federal High Court in Lagos vacated the earlier order by same court upon which the NSCDC evicted guests and sealed the hotel at the prompting of a bank which granted the contentious N2.5 billion loan to Joma Frozen Foods owned by Chief Godspower Agbonifo, a stakeholder in the hotel.
