ON the backdrop of the dominance of his players in the just concluded 47th Asoju Oba Table Tennis Championships, financier of O’jez Sports Academy, Joseph Odobeatu, says his objective is to nurture African and world champions in table tennis and other sports as his contribution to Nigerian sports development.
O’jez players seized the stage in the Asoju Oba Championships, producing all four men’s singles semifinalists with Adeyinka Ahmed and Ayo Omotara providing a dramatically pulsating final that kept spectators on edge for the duration.
Club chairman ays it is a great beginning to his commitment to contribute his quota in the development of Nigerian athletes. “We have just started and our success in this outing is very encouraging. This is a sports academy and our aim is to catch them young and make Nigeria and Nigerians proud on the local, continental and world stages. we preparing them for the future to make Nigeria great again in the sport,” Odobeatu said,
