President of Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Melvin Amaju Pinnick has warned Parents of U-17 World Champions and suitor clubs to stay away from the players insisting that the football house would not issue any International Transfer Certificate(ITC) to Clubs who lure the players to sign without their authority, reports Tony Ubani.

‘’We(NFF) will determine the clubs the players will play in and not their parents or the so-called Agents’’, Amaju warned yesterday at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport before the departure of Chairmen of Football Associations of States in Nigeria who flew to the United Kingdom on a 4-day leadership training program.
‘’There are many tempting offers from many Clubs. We’re monitoring things and want only the best for these players. We have a role to play in their careers and not their parents or those so-called Agents who are only interested in the money they will make.
These players are national assets to be kept together. All intending Clubs will come to the NFF for us to strike a better deal that will be beneficial to them and not those slave contracts that will extinguish their glowing careers.
We’re doing this not because of any financial gain. We’re trying to build a future Nigerian team. These players if properly managed will be the ones to bring more honour and glory to our country’’, he said.
