WARRI—PROPERTY worth millions of naira has been lost by the member representing Warri South 1 Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Godwin Abigor,  following a fire outbreak at his official residence suspected to be the handiwork of his political foes.

The incident occurred Tuesday.

It will be recalled that the Court of Appeal sitting in Benin City, Edo State, nullified his election on Saturday, in a controversial verdict in favour of his Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, opponent, after ruling in favour of Abigor as being duly elected against his All Progressives Congress, APC, opponent, Mr Robison Ariyo, on Thursday.

Abigo, who was declared winner of the seat on the platform of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in the last general election, has however, appealed to his numerous supporters to remain calm as there was still hope of reclaiming his mandate.
