ABUJA – President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated an Elders statesman, Lt. Gen. Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma (rtd) on his 78th birthday.

A statement by his media aide, Mr. Femi Adesina stated that the “President joins friends, family members and all business associates of Gen. Danjuma in celebrating the achievements of the renowned philanthropist, who also serves as the Chairman of the Presidential Initiative for the Rehabilitation of Internally Displaced Persons in the North East.

It further stated that “President Buhari believes that the exemplary dedication of the elder statesman to giving back to the society and making life better for the less privileged is worthy of emulation by all.”

President Buhari also prayed God to grant Danjuma many more years of good health and fulfillment in the service of the nation.
