Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh has predicted a tough tournament for his team, after it was drawn in group C with Tunisia, Guinea and Niger Republic in the African Nations Championship.
The Eagles qualified for the tournament after edging out Burkina Faso on a 2-0 aggregate. Oliseh argued that all the countries that qualified for the tournament, billed to start January 16 in Rwanda have top quality home-based players and it will not be easy for all the teams. He called for early preparations.
“From the line – up of the 16 participants, you will know that it will be a tough journey for everyone, “ Oliseh was quoted by Super Eagles’ official twitter account.
“Our group will be very competitive, we will make sure we prepare very well for the competition.
“For us, we will begin to plan and prepare for this competition after Tuesday’s game against Swaziland.”
Nigeria won the bronze in the third edition hosted by South Africa.
