By Kingsley Fanwo

The deputy governor of the state, Arc. Yomi Awoniyi has urged voters in Mopamuro to re-elect Capt. Idris Wada as governor on the strength of his character compared to the opposition.

The Deputy Governor gave the charge   after attending the 2015 harvest thanksgiving service at First Baptist Church, Ileteju, Mopa even as he described Mopa as the traditional home of the PDP.

Awoniyi assured that the vigorous governorship campaign tour embarked on by the PDP was more of a needs assessment just as he appealed to the people to be peaceful and of good conduct before, during and after the governorship election, said the PDP would win convincingly in view of the character traits of Governor Wada.

Amidst paucity of funds, Awoniyi described human and capital development as having received attention under the Wada administration, adding that another term would enable the administration to consolidate.

Awoniyi thanked God for the successes the Wada administration has recorded so far, saying another term would break new grounds of development.

Earlier in the Church Service, Pastor Kayode Ige, of the First Baptist Church, Ileteju, Mopa, said thanksgiving should be the lifestyle of Christians, adding that it is a product of a grateful heart.
