Idisi empowers physically challenged constituents

The member representing Ethiope Federal Constituency, Chief Loveth Idisi has been urged to attract more dividends of democracy to the area, even as he has been lauded for the development strides he has achieved since becoming a Federal Lawmaker representing the people of Ethiope Federal constituency in the national Assembly.

This call was made by the HRM Otateferua Edward, Erhiekevwe 1, the Ovie of Idjereh kingdom, when the monarch and people of the kingdom organized a civic reception for the lawmaker to honour him and appreciate his representation, which they described as very beneficial to the people.

The monarch of Idjereh kindom, while noting that Hon. Idisi had displayed a true sense of leadership and democratic antecedents in the short period that he has been their representative, however used the medium to highlight some of the welfare problems of the community, including access road, pipe-born water, schools and healthcare centre,amongst others, which he urged the lawmaker to use his position to address in the course of his stay at the national Assembly.

Hon. Idisi, while responding, thanked the Monarch and people of idjereh kingdom for the reception and promised to attract more dividends of democracy to Ethiope East as their federal lawmaker in the House of Representatives.

The lawmaker, had earlier embarked on an empowerment programme for the physically challenged, where he gave out some tricycles and settled medical bills.
