ABUJA-  Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Power, Godknows Igali, has dismissed the insinuation that increased rain fall was responsible for the improved electricity supply across the country.

He said that no single case of gas pipeline vandalism had been recorded since President Muhammadu Buhari assumed office three months ago.

He told journalists at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, that the current administration had redoubled efforts at engaging communities and stakeholders to allow peace to reign, saying it had resulted in increased gas supplies and improved power supply nationwide currently at 4,600 megawatts.
