Twenty one persons were Wednesday reportedly rescued and one missing at two separate boat mishaps which occurred in Lagos.

One of the incident was said to  have happened on Wednesday morning at More Island and the other at Tincan Island around 6pm.

Vanguard gathered that 21 passengers including the operator were on board  that of Tincan Island and were all rescued alive but that of More Island recorded a tragedy as an elderly man was missing after the boat ran over a  fishing boat.

The South-west Information Officer for National Emergency Management Agency NEMA, Ibrahim Farinloye confirmed the incident to Vanguard.
