The residents of FESTAC are worried about the kidnap of an industrialist, Chief James Uduji, CEO, Cometstar Manufacturing Company, and the recipient of The SUN Newspapers Manu- facturer of the Year, 2014.

According to an eye-witness report, on September 7, 2015, Chief Uduji was returning from office when a car blocked his car at his 7th Avenue residence, and his driver and another occupant sitting on front seat were shot.

The gang dragged out Chief Uduji before whisking him away in their own car to an unknown destination.

Family members reported the incident to the Area Command in Festac immediately, but up till date, the victim had not been released or the culprit arrested.
