2015: KogiI Decides: Nomination of Faleke as Audu’s running mate commended

A socio-political group, Okun Youth Frontiers has hailed the nomination of Hon. James Abiodun Faleke as running mate to the APC governorship candidate, Prince Abubakar Audu.

In a statement in Lokoja, the group promised to mobilize over 200,000 Okun youth to vote for the APC ticket in the November 21 governorship election.

“In terms of experience, Abiodun Faleke has it in abundance. For the Okun-born politician to be elected twice to govern the highly cosmopolitan Ikeja Local Government Area is a testimony to his astuteness and administrative acumen. He was also the campaign coordinator for Buhari/Osinbajo in Lagos State.

“Having acquired quality in Nigeria and abroad, Faleke has shown the Okun spirit of resilience, hard work and loyalty. He is eminently qualified to pilot the affairs of the state with his boss, Prince Abubakar Audu.

“We are sufficiently aware that those kicking against his choice do not love Okunland. When the late S.B. Awoniyi and Chief Ola Akande were both Senator and Deputy Governor respectively, Ijumu and Kabba/Bunu didn’t complain because we knew we were one people. That is what we remain to be”, he said.

Also, the group applauded the national leader of APC, Asiwaju Bola    Ahmed Tinubu for releasing Hon. Faleke after investing so much in him to develop him as a first class politician and administrator, saying the Okun nation will reciprocate the gesture by voting massively for APC.
