Shooting get first away win against Heartland

League- action

Shooting Stars FC on Monday recorded their first away victory of the season in the Nigeria Premier League as they stunned Heartland FC 1-3 at the Rojenny Stadium in Anambra.

It turned out to be a blessing in disguise for Shooting Stars, who now return to their base unscathed after posting an eye-popping result

Tope Orelope gave them the lead in the 36th minute.

However, Heartland gave a brave fight back and they restored parity in the final minute of the first half as their new signing, Fortune Omoniwari, scored in his debut match for his new team.

It turned out to be a different kettle of fish in the second half as Shooting Stars outshone  their hosts in the second half scoring two more goals which saw them running away with a 1-3 victory.

The result has now taken 3SC to 9th spot on the log with 32 points from 22 games. Sunshine Stars on their part will stay second with 40 points, one behind table toppers Enyimba who secured a 2-1 win over Lobi stars at the weekend.
